Children’s Guidelines

CloudPlus requires that all account holders be 18 years of age or older. Children are not provided access to any CloudPlus services in which any personal data is collected beyond the collection of a visitor’s IP address and session status. If CloudPlus becomes aware that any child has accessed our non-publicly available web sites, the account through which the child has gained access will be terminated. No information should be submitted to or posted at CloudPlus web sites by persons under 13 years of age. CloudPlus does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. All CloudPlus services are open only to persons over the age of 18. Our web sites use on-line order forms for customers to request services. Through these order forms we collect your contact information and financial information. CloudPlus’ web sites also log IP addresses and other user session information to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer and improve our web sites, to facilitate marketing of CloudPlus products, and to gather broad demographic and statistical information.

Information Disclosure and Retention of Your Information

CloudPlus will release personally identifiable information about you as is reasonably necessary for the provision of CloudPlus services for which you have subscribed. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Provision of financial information to organizations such as VeriSign and Intuit for CloudPlus billing purposes.
  • Provision of contact and software usage information to our software license providers for the purpose of software licensing compliance, licensing usage calculation, and billing purposes.
  • Provision of your account information to independent contractors providing services in support of CloudPlus’ delivery of services to you. (Note: all independent contractors to whom CloudPlus provides account information are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement).
  • Transfer information that you provide to apply for separate software licenses through CloudPlus such as Scribe. The information you provide to CloudPlus to apply for separate software licenses or directly to the software licensor will be subject to the privacy policy of the licensor and not this Privacy Policy.

In addition, CloudPlus may release personally identifiable information necessary for the prosecution or defense of any legal claim or right to which CloudPlus is a party. CloudPlus will also release personally identifiable information as required by law. The personal information you provide to us through our site and the email messages that are routed through our servers are NEVER voluntarily disclosed by us to any third parties. We do not sell, trade, or share any of your personal information with any other companies.

If you contact us via email or via a web form, information you provide may be entered into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software indefinitely. Anonymous, aggregate data that cannot re-identify you may also be kept indefinitely.

CloudPlus’ email servers are backed up nightly, and overwritten after 7 days. Thus, any incoming or outgoing email message being routed through our servers will be permanently destroyed and irretrievable after 7 days.

Security

CloudPlus’ web sites have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. Your contact and financial information is submitted via a secure (HTTPS) connection and stored in the CloudPlus database protected by a firewall. Access to your information is restricted to authorized CloudPlus personnel and contracting partners only.

Accuracy of Information and Access to It

If, when posting a question through the Q&A, Technical Support, or Customer Portal sections of the site, an incorrect email address is entered, a response to the question cannot be provided. CloudPlus relies exclusively on the information provided by its web site users and will not seek independent verification of any of the information supplied. Likewise, if a Customer’s email address, domain name, or any details about their internal mail system change, CloudPlus relies fully on the Customer to contact CloudPlus in advance, so as to ensure that their email service is not interrupted.

In addition to accessing email through the company’s mail system, customers can securely access their email on the Internet (Web mail) or from virtually any Internet-enabled device.
